German magazin Sport Auto has an interesting way. Since March1997 they drive the car as part of their Supertest on the 20,600 km long testpart of the Nordschleife and record a.o. the laptime

Everything under 8.00" is considered as fairly fast. According their list it takes at least a production roadcar of over €100k and some drivingskills to achieve this.
